Bulldog athletes breaking out of a huddle after a play
Volleyball is a sport with Palisade High School, sadly after a long season today is their last and final game against Central. When asking Freshman Tinley Smith about how she is feeling about her last and final volleyball game for the season Smith states, “When going into the game, I felt great, like we were going to win. During the game, I felt scared because we almost lost. Also at the end of the game, I felt good, I got the game kill.“ With this being said, Smith felt all throughout the game and was very confident not in only herself but her whole team. Freshman Emmy Fenton also added, “I felt really good and confident going into the game, in the middle of the game I felt nervous because I thought we were going to lose because we started going downhill, but then we brought it back up. After the game ended, I felt good because we won our last game.” Fenton also added the score of the last set, “The score of the last set was 27-25”. With the nerves of the last game being in the system, they showed up big and proved how Bulldog athletes work through nerve wracking times. Both Fenton and Smith were really happy that they won last night because it was their last game and they ended the season with a bang. With what Fenton has added, you can clearly see that both Fenton and Smith were confident throughout the game but got a little nervous in the middle because they were on the verge of losing. They pushed through the whole game and officially won their last game of the season.
