The Charlie Kirk Show
Many of you know the events of September 10th, where right wing activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated by, according to ABC News, Tyler Robinson. This left “The Charlie Kirk Show” without a host, and on Monday, September 17th, 2025, Vice President James Vance decided to host an episode. The episode was teased on “X” with a picture of a desk in the White House, and was later filmed there. Vance states that he was “filling in for someone who cannot be filled in for” from the White House on Monday, after accompanying his body to his home of Arizona on Air Force Two. According to CBS News, Charlie Kirk and Vance were good friends, with Kirk inviting Vance on his show multiple times. This announcement of Vice President Vance hosting the show did shock many people. There have only been 2 other hosts in the history of the show, Jack Posobiec and Kash Patel, according to IMDb. Sophomore Kyler Noland thinks that “The Charlie Kirk Show should be aired, but not with a different host” This idea may suggest that people are not ready for a change and still may be grieving the death of Mr. Kirk. This death did shock the nation and affect many young people with the shock of the event. Kirk’s memorial service was held on Sunday, September 21, 2025. On the show Vice President Vance reminded everyone that it is up to all of us to keep on the legacy of Charlie Kirk. The big question now is will there be any other celebrity hosts, or is this just a one time thing.
