On Wednesday September 17th, Jenny Han, the creator of the beloved show The Summer I Turned Pretty just released the last episode of the series, and the final episode was an emotional rollercoaster.
After being one of the most popular and loved series for many years, The Summer I Turned Pretty has come to an end. According to famous Tik Toker, Cassiesbooktok, she explains “This episode was a pool of emotions and I’m so sad we didn’t get more of this great show.” Han has specifically stated there will be no more seasons of The Summer I turned Pretty and the series is over according to The Summer I Turned Pretty Instagram Page.
The series might be over, however, The Summer Turned Pretty official Tik Tok page just announced as of Friday September 19th that there will be a movie to end off the whole scene, so even though the show has ended, more awaits for the great story of the main character Belly Conklin. Han loves making her endings look different. In an interview with NBR Han states, “The ending is nothing like the books and is very new.” making fans like abbidicenso on Tik Tok think she means Belly won’t choose either brother in the show.
Even though the show’s ending was different from the books after watching it, fans like Palisade Junior Aunalicia Aparicico state, “I thought I wouldn’t like the ending but to my surprise it was sweet and everyone ended up happy so I loved it.”
