Palisade Bulldogs fighting for the win.
When playing volleyball, lots of people look at it and think it’s such an easy sport, but in reality there are multiple different rules and plays in volleyball that most people that don’t play skip over. When asking Sophomore Darcy Imer explains the rules of volleyball and how she feels when she’s starting a game by saying “Before the game, we have a very specific team ritual that gets us hyped up and excited for the game. We always come out on the court, high on energy and ready to play hard.” Seeing how they take the time before the game and bring it on the court, shows how the game will start and will go through, is setting the tone of the game. Imer also adds a brief description of the rules of volleyball, Imer states, “You get three contacts before it goes over the net, you can’t double on a set and you can’t touch the net.” The Bulldogs approach, they play games by trying to be hype and in a good mood throughout the game. Last night that attitude helped them out big time, it led them to a win.
Freshman Boe Reimer reflects on the game against Central. Reimer says, “We did pretty good, we just need to work on being more consistent and we’ll be okay.” While also asked about some of the strategies that they used, Reimer said, “We tried to play clean and use our strengths to our abilities.” With the strategies, and how Reimer felt, it’s clear that they won. Reimer also states, “It was 3-0.” With that information they clearly won. When going out on the court, they always try to be hype and in the best mood, with what they have achieved.
