Last Friday, on September 5th, the gym was buzzing with activity. The girls’ Varsity, JV, and Freshmen volleyball teams played at Palisade High School against the Delta Panthers. During the First quarter, it was Palisade 25-13, the second quarter it was Palisade 25-17, and the last quarter it was Palisade 25-17, so overall Palisade won 3-0. When asked about how she felt going into the game, Freshman Scarlett Robertes said,“ I would say our team is pretty pumped up for this game. Going into it, the energy is up.” It’s safe to say the whole team was pretty pumped up at the game. This caused them to win against the Delta Panthers. When asked about how Hadley Fenske, a sophomore on varsity, was feeling the day before the game, Fenske said,” I think I’ll do pretty well as long as I keep my confidence up and we all keep our energy running high.” Turns out that many players thought they’d do well at the game before it even started. Team chemistry is an essential part of teamwork. Luckily, the bulldogs have that on lock. Due to this win, they are on their way to go up against the Montrose Red Hawks. on September 9th, 6 P.M., so be there to support your fellow Dogs.
