If you’ve been keeping up with the news recently, you have probably heard something about current President Donald Trump dying. Our 79-year old president has recently been seen with bruises on his hands, which according to his doctors, attribute to him shaking hands with others, and his swollen ankles. The White House confirmed that he was diagnosed with “Chronic Venous Insufficiency,” which causes veins in the legs to have trouble returning blood to the heart, which then leads to symptoms such as skin changes, and in President Trump’s case, leg swelling.
Rumors have recently been circulating online with hashtags on the “X” app, formerly known as Twitter, like #whereistrump, and #TRUMPDIED with millions of views and thousands of posts with the listed tags. There have been many more concerns of the President’s health in his second term, then as in his first term which ranged from 2017-2021. These rumors have come from, of course, his bruised hands, swollen legs, and recently, not having any public appearances for 3 days. This stems from Mr. Trump’s 26 public appearances in August, which comes to about one a day. In actuality it was him taking a break for Labor Day.
Some Americans hoped not to see the President’s health in decline, which possibly was created from Former President Joseph Biden’s health decline while in office. On Sunday, August 31st, Mr. Trump posted online “I NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE”, reassuring Americans that he was in good health and still alive. Sophomore Joesph Webster states “I would be sad if Trump died, gas prices would probably go up and Trump is a pretty good president” Many don’t share the same views as Webster, but we still need a President that is able to do his job. Although the President has some health issues, he is still doing well according to Vice President James Vance.
