Students having fun at Messy Day!
Last week was a fun time for Palisade since we had our annual Messy Day, one last fun day before we kick off the final weeks of the school year. There were so many fun events on a Messy Day this year, a very colorful way to end the school year.
For this year’s Messy Day they had water balloons, slip n slides, games, and so much more. Not only were there fun games and foods but Messy Day was the day to get yearbooks to look back at all at Palisade through the year. The whole time you couldn’t hear anything but laughter, music, and fun. FCCLA worked hard for a messy day this year to make it fun and it shows. There were teams and tournaments for water kickball and boy was it intense. Every team showed good teamwork, played hard, and most importantly had fun.
If you want to understand how fun Messy Day was, then take Sophomore Mya Topi’s words. They state, “It was a fun time. I definitely had more fun this year than last. I definitely want to go again next year.” Even if you don’t like messy activities it can also be a time you hang out with friends and have a nice chill time. And they didn’t just have games, they had delicious food like chips, lemonade and snow cones. “Topi says, “My favorite part was the snacks especially the snow cones, it was refreshing for that day”
Messy Day was the day for fun and good times. What a good way to end off the year before summer at Palisade!
