Everett Henson receiving his award
Everett Henson is named Student of the Week at Palisade High School, earning recognition for his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and steady presence in the classroom. A junior at Palisade, Henson is known for staying focused and putting in consistent effort. Teachers across multiple subjects notice his willingness to participate, his respect for others, and his ability to stay on task. He takes his education seriously and shows up every day ready to work hard. While Henson may not be involved in clubs or sports, he sets a strong example through his attitude and reliability. He treats others with kindness, works well with classmates, and always puts in the time to get things done right. Whether it’s group projects, daily assignments, or preparing for tests, Henson approaches each task with quiet determination. The Student of the Week award at Palisade High is given to students who stand out for their academic performance, character, and commitment. Henson checks all of those boxes, and his recognition this week shows that success comes in many forms. As Henson states, “I usually am always studying. The second I get home I do my school work.” He also states, “I really wanna be an electrician, go to school and get my journeyman’s degree.” As the school year continues, Henson’s achievement reminds others that you don’t have to be in the spotlight to make an impact. Through consistency, respect, and effort, he makes a difference every day at Palisade.
