Male Athlete of the week: Caleb Johnson

Palisade Junior, Caleb Johnson, is the male Athlete of the Week brought to you by Palisade Dino Mart. Caleb plays football and basketball. “ I have been playing football for a really long time, probably since I was five years old, and I play fullback and Linebacker.” Caleb is a starter for the offensive Bulldogs. “I keep playing football because there is nothing quite like it, the adrenaline and the way we play it. It’s a unique sport and the feeling of the games is the best feeling. One of my biggest motivations to keep playing football is that I have something to look for and I’ve always played football and it’s something that I would like to continue.” His positive attitude and willingness to support and uplift others make him a role model for aspiring athletes. “My parents are my biggest inspirations, they are the ones that got me started and I’m grateful for them. I didn’t really do much outside of high school, sports are pretty much all I do. Whenever I am not playing football I am hanging out with my family. Something I would tell the underclassmen is to keep working hard. Football is one of the hardest sports to play and you’ll get there eventually. We all start somewhere, don’t be scared to take someone’s spot.” His exceptional performances this season have earned him Athlete of the Week with two assists and one goal this season. His achievements serve as a testament to his hard work and dedication. We are proud to honor Caleb Johnson as our Athlete of the Week, and we eagerly anticipate his future accomplishments.
